Terms of Service

Labor-only service

Customers arrange, provide, pay for and operate their own rental truck, trailer or moving container. M&E workers meet the customer at the agreed locations to provide packing, loading, unloading, furniture moving and other labor performed on the property.

Estimates and booking

Website prices and estimate requests are general information, not confirmed bookings. A job is scheduled only after M&E confirms availability, scope, crew size, rates, minimum time, service locations, access conditions and applicable material or third-party charges in writing.

Customer responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate addresses, inventory, stairs, elevators, parking restrictions, building rules, fragile or heavy items and other conditions affecting safety or staffing. Customers are responsible for lawful property access and for securing valuables, medications, documents and prohibited items.

Changes to the job

If the actual job differs from the information provided, M&E may revise the estimated time, price, crew or service plan, or decline work that cannot be completed safely or lawfully. Changes will be discussed before additional work whenever reasonably possible.

Payment

Requested packing materials are due before the move. Customers pay rental companies directly for their own vehicle. Labor is due after the agreed work is completed and the customer has reviewed the job. Accepted methods include Visa, Cash App, Zelle, Venmo and cash. Any permitted card-processing surcharge is disclosed before payment.

Third-party platforms

M&E is independently owned and may be listed as a labor provider through U-Haul Moving Help. Third-party bookings are also subject to that platform’s terms. Moving Help and U-Haul are third-party brands and do not own M&E Moving Services LLC.
